Riley Finn had enjoyed his summer besides the misstep with Jacob and Sebastian. Jacob had asked Riley to return the suit, and while Riley had agreed he had actually stashed the extremely expensive outfit and all of it’s accessories out of sight. He couldn’t return it not because he didn’t love Jacob, but because Emma had given it to him as a gift. He had returned to Detroit the last week of August to spend sometime with his mom and younger brothers and had brought the suit with him. He planned to wear it to the opening feast, for the mentor day Riley choose to wear a pair of black slacks, a purple dress shirt, with a golden bow tie.

The seventh year sighed as he looked over the Deputy Head. Riley, had sat in de Villiers classes when he was the Herbology Professor and he honestly did not miss the man at all. He was a good Professor he just seemed to be above it all. Riley greeted a few of his schoolmates and theater friends with hugs and kisses and showed some photos from the summer while they waited for their mentees.

When the incoming first years came in Riley choose a table and charmed their names in bubbly writing over the table, Evelyn Redwood & Linden Wrey The thing he had added since he was last a mentor was that when the student arrived at the table the name would burst into flames and vanish. He smiled as one came near and he looked up to watch the name vanish. “Welcome, it’s nice to meet you, I’m Riley Finn!”
