Arwen had mixed emotions about going back to school. On one point Rocky Mountain International was a pretty cool place to be honestly. She liked the place to be fair, it was better than most schools. Of course the downside: it was a school. And that sucked. A lot. Arwen was never really the academic type, so learning some nonsense spells and how to wave a wand seemed like it was going to be a walk in the park, but lone behold turns out you actually had to memorise these things and you actually had to work and do homework and write long boring essays about the importance of separating your salt-water fungi and your fresh-water fungi. It was all pretty exhausting.

Though the best part of school had to be the Opening Feast, that was where everyone was a little less annoying because she hadn't seen them in a while, and of course there was getting new house members which was cool as meant she wasn't one of the little children anymore. Though Arwen had always been tall for her age, so it was no real concern. In fact, Arwen wasn't really seen as one of the children, no, people didn't look at her and smile at how adorable she was. No, mostly they were just freaked about the fact she had red eyes and white hair. The Albino was surprised to find no one had reacted in pure horror yet, but she was bidding her time. But she guessed there were a lot of freaks at the school. She guessed half of the pupils were zombies or something and that deputy head, mister French-guy, was definitely a vampire.

Soon Arwen found herself taking her place at the red fire, by far the coolest of all the bonfires. She wasn't really paying attention to what was going on until some guy turned to her.

“What was that?” He asked, Arwen could already tell this was going to be an intellectual conversation.

"Dude, I didn't say anything," Arwen said back to him, uninterested and Arwen found herself glaring before she stopped herself. The Aquila told herself to calm down, it was only the beginning of the year and she had plenty of time for disagreements.
