Anthony Leppit and family

They had spent enough time in their relationship for Amy Duncan (formerly Leppit) to bring to light the biggest secret of her entire lie. Her marriage to Jim had been flawed with more than its share of arguments, but she truly felt loved and in love, and with this many years under their belt, she decided it was time to tell Jim the truth about her children. Wizards apparently had this Statue of Secrecy or something, but after Andersson had provided her with enough research, she determined that the law did not apply to spouses, or in this case step-parents, of magical people.

Jim's blank expression when she told him at first inspired nerves, but Amy soon remembered her evidence and simply smiled. He said nothing, but in response to his obvious doubts, she added, "I can prove it."

And now, her husband's wide eyes as they entered the Finer Diner illustrated his realization and acceptance of the fact. He looked almost childlike, fully immersed in the magic that surrounded him. It was certainly a weight off of her shoulders to know there were no more secrets, a weight even further removed by his grinned statement, "I love it."

"Mom?!" Amy recognized the eager voice of her youngest son as he ran towards her. Anthony's expression clearly indicated his surprise to see his Muggle mother and step-father at RMI, but he also did not seem upset by it. "Jim?! I'm so.. you came?" To his mother directly, he added, "He knows?" Her nodded answer seemed to satisfy him enough, as in the next moment, he was exclaiming, "Let's go sit somewhere!"

The Cetus led his mom and step-dad to his favorite table, but when they arrived, there were already people there. But Anthony was a friendly lad and hardly minded. "Hey, do you mind if we join you?" he asked in a friendly voice, his smile a hopeful flash of white teeth. His mom gave a polite smile as well, although Jim's focused still remained on the magical scenery and funny creatures that so excited him.
