Nathan DeVerro
Don't even bother.
Mon Nov 22, 2010 15:10

Nathan stepped onto the pitch, his taut face serious as the snow landed in his dark hair, nicely combed just for the match. Though his hair was always unruly on a regular basis, it was just for these matches that he combed his hair. He liked to look nice when his team won. It was cold, but he'd cast his warming charm already. No big deal. Merlin, he couldn't wait. Quidditch was his life. He had broad shoulders and sturdy bones, and his coach had encouraged him to be a Beater, until he'd seen him play in the Chaser position.

As he mounted his broom, waiting for the Quaffle to be thrown up, he made eye contact with the beaters and allowed one little smirk on his face. This team wouldn't know what had hit them. They weren't the best team for nothing.

The Quaffle was thrown, and Nathan took this opportunity to snatch it and fly. He noticed the captain of the other team a bit preoccupied with the bludgers, and Nathan, his face cold, zoomed off, making sure to shoulder her hard when he flew past. He didn't like to show emotion when it wasn't necessary.

As he approached the hoops, his dark eyes made eye contact with the Keeper. He had a very intimidating stare which made people back at his school very afraid to approach him, and he used this now to his advantage to stare the Keeper down as he zoomed right at them, right towards the right hoop. He liked to get up close and personal with the Keepers.

Finally, when the end of his broom was just a few feet away gouging itself into the Keeper, he broke eye contact, pulled a sharp left and hurled the Quaffle, with a mighty and powerful arm, into the left hoop.
