Roaring Fireballs Vs. Williamsburg Boardhounds

It was the day of the first game the SUM Fireballs were going to play under his coachship, and from what he had heard from the Captain and the practices he had seen under disguise, he was sure his kids would do okay. Or he really hoped, because this was his first coaching job, and he didn’t want to mess it up. Simon Americus Green had enough problems with the International Quidditch Organization already, this job was a sort of test, and he was going to pass it, even if it meant his life, he was that serious.

The Falcon Cup was seen as a very important prize to have, and college Quidditch usually meant playing Professional for those that were willing enough. It was no laughing matter, he had started his professional career after he graduated college. He had gained fame and money doing what he loved the most. The retired beater had some trophies under his belt, and he was proud of them. They reminded him of better times, when he was actually useful. That time had come and gone, and all he had left from that were his trophies, money and fame. Some would not frown upon that, but the ex-beater had the need to do something useful. The reason he was now coaching the Fireballs, until a replacement was found, or if he decided to stay.

The day of the game was a chilly one. Snow could be seen around the ground, but the Pitch was as green as ever. It was hard to kick-off from soft ground. The Fireballs were going to play against the Boarhounds of Williamsburg University. The team had managed to snatch the second place last season, and from what he had heard, they were good, but he had faith in his kids. The only player he could see being a big nuisance was their Head Chaser, since he had the title of most scored goals. However, the sky was clear, always a good thing.

Coach Green had a small talk with the Fireballs’ captain before the game started, just to give her a few final tips before heading to the President Box, where he would see the game with President Raul, the other University President and the Coach. He was confident of the SUM team making a good impression.

The referee made the Captains Eriksson and Wong shake hands before letting the balls fly away and throwing the Quaffle into the air. The ref mounted his broom and the game started. Simon smiled at the sound of the whistle and wished his team good luck. It was going to be a really good game, SUM had a good team.

OOC: Okay guys I want long detailed posts. You know the drill. The longer, the better! I would like if both Seekers sent me their e-mails. Just click on mine and sent it. Thanks!

Okay, Quidditch game rules for people who haven't played before:
-Seekers, don't catch the snitch unless you get an email from me saying you can.
-Chasers, let the Keepers decide if you made a goal.
-Beaters, let your targets decide if you hit them.
-Keepers, you don't need to make every save; be realistic.
-Beater Victims, you don't need to dodge every bludger; be realistic. Also, no falling off your broom and crashing horrifically into the ground. Falling off your broom is fine. Just not the crashing part. I'm watching. I will use my wand to catch you before you die or are horribly maimed by a sudden impact with the planet. So end any falling posts while you're still in the air.
