In researching the owners of a historic property in Centerville, IN, I found Peter Ringo's name as a purchaser of
lot #59 in 1817 for $130. Centrville was still a new town, just becoming the county seat of Wayne County.
We believe this is the grandfather of Johnny Ringo who was born in Greensfork, IN, another small town in Wayne
We are making a timeline of this historic property and wondered if there were any pictures of Peter Ringo or his immediate family.
We could use suggestions about illustrations for our timeline which might cast a more positive light on the Ringo
family than the notorious John Ringo.
I hope this reaches you. We are now making our timeline so if you have any documents or pictures we could use in our exhibits, we would like to know about them.
