Also you asked about his *mean streak* Really, he didn't have one. People were different back then. And Doc became a constant drinker as he knew that his days were numbered because of the tuberculosis. If he was wanted, it probably was more of a drunken rampage between he and a card cheater or someone claiming he cheated, this did cause fights among most gambling/drinking men. I think that he gets a really bad rap.
