I haven't seen the multi-volume set, understand it is in the Indianapolis Public Library. I do have a condensed single volume that was done by Nathaniel Usher Ringo at the same time as the multi-volume set and handed down via the oldest son down my line. My dad updated it for our branch until he passed in 2000.
Jean Ringo Philip Janszen Ringo Albertus Ringo Philip Ringo Henry Ringo Cornelius Ringo (brother of John Peters Ringo) Major Ringo Morgan Bryan Ringo Nathaniel Usher Ringo Asa Wilkinson Ringo John Edward Ringo Danny Edward Ringo Thomas Edward Ringo
The original volume I have has the following written inside the cover:
To Asa W. Ringo and family given by his father July 11, 1926.
On topic, there is a note my dad added in regard to Johnny Ringo:
"Johnny Ringo lived during the same generation as Nat U. Ringo, the originator of our family history. It is said that Nat U. did not want Johnny Ringo included in our family tree."
I am told this is because he was an outlaw.
Have not seen but a few references to the family prior to around 1588 with Jean (or John) Ringo's estimated birth.
