Vince I have his book and the 2nd later one added to, edited and full of beans. Matt wrote about a lot of his escapades and daring do. But in order to sell books and seem more important than he was , he included Butch in everything ,which we know Butch did not do . Nor was Butch in most of the places Warner said he was. Warner was more a cohort of the McCarty's .And he says Butch died in Bolivia but was based on what he read in the papers not on any facts he know.
Lay however was Butch's best friend and similar age. Lay is the key to what happened to Butch. I am certain of it. But proving it is another thing.
Since this book is so difficult to read , I decided to go through it with a yellow highlighter and mark only the actual cited documents , if that's what they are. Or the newspaper articles . And... more
