I have no idea! And I have wondered about this. I see Butch a lot like a younger Richard Farnsworth.




I can't think of one person today who I think would make a good Butch. I'm sure one is out there, but I can't think of who that would be.

Sam Shepard was okay, but I wouldn't choose him to play Butch

        Look at Pitt. His square jaw and nose and squinty pale blue eyes, blond hair. Perfect. And now he is the age of Butch when he came back to US in his 40's.
