1899 to 1900 for SK

Bob and Vince -

Tracking SK in 1899 and 1900 is a curious subject. For many of us. Maybe for researchers trying to nail down how he met EP and exactly where to my mind.
Vince - You bring up some interesting topics unheard or at least I cannot recall discussing on the forum.

I had tried to get a understanding of his whereabouts early on in 1900 as I had thought it would lead me to places she could have been from outside of the obvious Fort Worth or San Antonio areas. I did know there was evidence of him being in the Snake River and Thermop area via Frackelton and other authors.( have to dig for this but believe Buck and Meadows and Others had him there . ) They had then got Cassidy and Longabaugh as far as a rail head in Colorado
whereby Longabaugh turned over his Winchester for some reason to a friend as I recall . BC and SK then take a train to Fort Worth best I can tell. Now they could have rode from the rail head but one would have to track as to whether that rail head was moving trains down to Fort Worth at that time or via connections.

I had also been intrigued by Minnie Browns Movements ( yes Minnie Brown ) LOL - in the later part of 1909 through 1912. I only say this as she goes on several trips which are a little weird for no reason after shooting her husband. She does go to Globe Arizona and then to SF. Kind of strange. I have also received a letter which was sent to the Union Pacific Railroad President _ (Carl Raymond Gray ) by Minnie V Brown dated March 30 , 1933- I have the response of Mr Gray to Minnie Brown which is very revealing . I will net it out - I can post the entire letter later today ( I have con calls all day or I can send a copy )
Minnie is for some reason coming clean in the last decade of her life . She has Virginia Bridger post death items which she is donating to the Union Pacific
(Minnie took Virginia Hahn Bridger in who was the daughter of Jim Bridger - Long story but please refer to Mrs, Hahn Bridger as the deceased and a famous woman in Western History ) - I digress - --Minnie states to Mr Grey that she is in possession of several stolen watches from a Union Pacific Robbery in 1899 or 1900 . It was the practice of the UP Railroad executives to respond to letters and inquiries personally I found out.
Mr Gray States back to her - " In answer to your separate note about the watches which you state were part of the loot taken from a Union Pacific train, presumably when it was held up in 1899 or 1900: I will be glad to know and I will assuredly hold in strict confidence , the circumstances under which these items came into your possession. It many be possible at this late date to locate the owners of these watches but the department having charge of that class of records may be able to turn them up. Again , thank you for your courtesy in writing me. Respectively yours, CR Gray

OK - TMI here I know - But tracking the Kid and also I was trying to get a bead on Minnie's movements given the fact she had a De Young Photo per my story - Every little bit counts as Donna Donnell says - Just one more piece to the puzzle. -- Peace -

It's always dangerous to use the word :"know" But I think we have good attestation by Frackelton's report that he wound up at the Thermop. area and Anderson's. Then there's that weird tale about SD... more

I can't absolutely say they did the split in MT. They could have done it in Wyoming. That view comes from probably Smokov, whose word i generally accept on Logan On the 11th they rejoin and are still ... more
