+ Bob Lee and Lonie Curry had some, of course. But the typical belief is that the take was in the neighborhood of 50 k; and the robbers were observed making two trips each to their horses with cash from the two safes, according to one of the train crew. But there was never a notation I am aware of, of any big stashes of bills being found, nor do I know of any list of the bills taken, unlike at Wagner.

Now how reliable this is, we do not know, but in 1900, a Pinkerton agent said the gang got $28,000, $5,100 of which was in banknotes.

I suspect that amount is low
