Sigismund Steinsson
Cornered by Cora
Mon Dec 14, 2009 00:50

Taken by surprise, Sigismund turned on a dime, finding himself eye to eye with Cora. "Oh hello, no rush I suppose. Just heading back to my room to study... You know, holidays, exams.. such.." Sigismund, uncharacteristically devoid of his usual composure, tried to catch himself. The sight of Cora, the source of his musings just moments earlier, had shaken more than just a physical resoluteness, his emotional core was jostled. His heart hammering, his loss of control becoming more pronounced-- he feared losing his handle on the blood of the beast flowing through his veins.

His hair bristling, face blushing the very slightest of nearly unnoticeable hues, Sigismund calmed and tried to counter his previous statement of unavailability. "Of course, if you'd like to take a walk or something, schoolwork can always wait..." Sufficiently proud of his 'covert' response, Sigismund fought the strange urges of his innermost being, trying desperately to stay true to his strict disciplined rationality.
