We finished the dock a few weeks ago and have been using it non-stop. It really is wonderful. Its at a family cottage and we basically use it as deck all day as well as a dock. There is plenty of room and its very stable.

There are a lot of skeptics on my lake about whether it will survive in the ice. I'm in Nova Scotia and if it works in Quebec it should work here. If it does, I expect I will see more of them on the Lake next summer!

        As a precaution, we move our docks to the sheltered side of the lake in the fall. That is usually the west side, away from the prevailing wind. That way the dock cannot be squeezed between the shore... more

      The four pipes hold the dock in place so securely that it won't move. A connection to shore is not necessary except to provide access to and from the dock. We use two foot wide planks for that... more
