Love your site and the info is much appreciated. Look forward to a fishing trip someday. I am going to build a dock (16x16)and have been on the Dock Builder's Supply site, where I guess I will buy the Dow billets. According to their chart the number of 10"X20"X8'billets needed is 10 for their reccomendation of 40% deadweight submergence of the billet (I estimate weight at 2,700 lbs according to a lumber weight chart), but you only call for six. Any thoughts on this? Thanks
