Hi Julie, The temperament of dogs always has something to do with the genetics and temperament of the parents as well as how they are raised. Poodles can have great temperaments but you can also find some that are more skittish, shy or reactive. I have seen many of these and am very particular about the temperaments so I have neutered several that I was not comfortable with. If they do not have great gentle temperaments, I just won't have them in my program period. I hope this helps.
