W.G.Harris is buried in Price Cemetery, Tahlequah, Okla. There is a cement plate in the ground that is very hard to read. The dates was written on in it while the cement was still wet. All is says is W.G. Harris 1946-1964. Rumor is he was hung there, taken down by a local woman along with her two sons & buried there. She must have found a paper on him with his family name because she notified some one we believe in Louisana. Acouple yrs later someone put a nice headstone on his grave that disappeared several yrs later and this cement plate left there. I think maybe his family for some reason came and took the headstone to possible where his parents were at. Everyone attached to this cemetery only knows about the rumor of his death. We have Harris's buried in Price but not one is related to W.G.Harris that they had been able to find. I am doing research on Price Cemetery and the area around it. I am hoping to find someone who would have records on this man. If any one has any information it would greatly be appreciated. Judith Cole
