It sounds like something is preventing the login cookie from being set. I would suggest checking your security settings to make sure you are accepting cookies.

Bing is not a browser. It sounds like the toolbars could be the problem. Try downloading Chrome - http://www.google.com/chrome/ and do not install any toolbars.

It sounds like there is a setting on your router that may be blocking access to the secure port. You will need to make sure that port 443 is open on the router.
