Not that Moorad seems like a paragon of virtue, but there is a qualitative difference between using revenue generated by the club to pay off the purchase and using revenue like the McCourt's did, to buy themselves flying monkeys and bunnies that crap Cadbury eggs and separate houses for every limb on their bodies.
Moorad really must stick in Reinsdorf's craw, and he apparently burned every bridge in Arizona, too. Moores didn't spend his Selig political capital soon enough, to get an All-Star Game or one of those Wilpon-style loans you can pay back whenever you feel like it. That goodwill has an expiration date.
