Alan- Agree completely on those points. Kelly is going to be the interesting one for me. I think we know relatively speaking what we're getting with Wieland. He isn't going to walk anyone and strikes enough people out to be solid.

Kelly is looking to have some significant upside once again.

It's going to be an interesting year to be sure. Let's hope some of the hitters on the farm progress-this is becoming un-watchable again in Petco.

        Yeah, the walks are going to prevent Volquez from matching Latos' FIP & xFIP. But in terms of era & K/9, it could be close. Clearly his walks are going to hurt a lot less pitching for the Padres then ... more
