I'm finding it really hard to give a crap with all the ownership BS. Also Moorad lets Hoyer walk and then gets forced out by MLB/Moores, really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I'm not sure why, or if Hoyer is even better than Byrnes, but it just really irritates me.
If it wasn't clear before, it certainly is clear now; the Padres are second class citizens in MLB's world.
With the restrictions on draft spending, it makes things that much more difficult. I'm also in favour of a salary cap, I know most of you aren't and I realize it will never ever happen, but I feel that it's a necessity in order to ensure some sort of balance.
Ultimately, why invest time and emotion in such a losing proposition?
