Do you think the HS arms are going to get so much over slot that we exhaust our pool? I ask because it doesn't seem that way to me -- that the first 14 picks are going to cost us $9.9M, unless they do something freaky pretty soon. Could totally be wrong about that. Maybe Eflin and Weickel are looking for well north of $2M apiece.
It'll be interesting to see if the public knowledge of the pool leads to the first unintended consequence of the new system -- that kids and their advisors know how much money is left in the pot, and hold out for as much of it as they can get. Like on July 12, Eflin's team crunches the numbers and come up with $3M. I might be misunderstanding the new CBA, I realize that.
