She had locked her roommate out of their room so that she’d have time to think. The past week she had been trying out some of the lessons from her rare Divination attendance and from Leo’s books to work on balancing her “ idiot paythick illness” as the doctors had so often referred to it, trying to make sure the images from the past stayed n the past so that she could see them instead of just experience them. But the past refused to be ignored and she would end up learning the history of her night table or spend an afternoon recovering from the memory of a cauldron. When they didn’t suck her in, it was like millions of voices shouting without discernable words, until she hung her hammock chair up and crawled inside. It was just small enough to serve as a den and just new enough to have nothing to say. And the colorful weaving was wrapped in a special charm that allowed it to blend into the surroundings, rendering it difficult to be scene unless you were willing to really look for it.

Then just when she’d thought she was getting it down, her thoughts would stray to Leo. Their dates. Project F. Thoughts of what they could have done. What they should have done. What they had done. And she’d find herself swamped with emotions she wasn’t entirely sure she wanted right then. Not that she didn’t like them, they were really good thoughts, but they weren’t controlled and control was what she was supposed to be working on. Worse she didn’t understand any of them, and Leo was always going on about understanding what they were working on instead of just jumping right in.

She been curled up in the hammock, trying to dissect the images, separate them from the emotions and break them into small manageable pieces, all the while trying to plan the next step, the one she knew she had to take in order to make a proper working relationship, when the door slammed open. She flinched, but she knew that door slam. Orion Hardy was the complete opposite of subtle, all stomps and slams and blaring music. There were rampaging elephants that were quieter.

“Will you shutup?!” Confirmed the voice that came with the slamming door.

Grace poked her head out of the chair.

“Wasn’t even saying anything. Ya got the wrong room”
