Despite herself, Randy's cheeky grin curbed the rising anger in her chest and pulled her mouth into a smile of its own. It was always easy with him. There was none of that wiggling or hair twirling or giggling that came with everybody else, just plastic horses and solving riddles. The best thing was that she could read him as easily as a book, simple desires laden with playful arrogance and topped off with a laid back nature. If only Captain Brainless could be as easy going, instead of locking his feelings up and driving her crazy. Speaking of the devil...

"Bradley," she muttered, kicking the broom aside. "He was yelling at me about stuff. You know how he is."

Of course he knew. Poor Randy had found himself on the wrong side of the Quidditch Captain before over silly little Aya. Ri was beginning to think that she was more of a trouble maker than she could ever aspire to be.

"Said something about riding Dagon's broomstick and acing assignments. I don't get it, it's not even a good broom," she frowned at it, even as it rolled away into a nearby hedge.
