Ri shuffled down, then shuffled in and wrapped her arm around him. She tried to feel as comforting as she possibly could, making it grow into a kind of bubble that surrounded them and filling it with all the most happy thoughts she had. Admittedly most of them were about Princess Sparkle or Quidditch and she knew that he couldn't hear it anyway but it was the best she could do. Her knees were tucked neatly under her chin and her head rested against his shoulder as she clung onto his shirt.

Meaning was always the hardest to figure out. At first it had been because it was all brand new information and sorting the different kind of feelings and what they meant to different people was as difficult as History. The longer she lived with it though, the more it felt like she just didn't know enough to understand them all. As Max was constantly telling her, she didn't really know anything yet - either because she was a girl or because she was too young. Ri thought it was because every body else was too complicated.

"Can you read my future?" she asked playfully. "Like, if I'll pass Astronomy? I've only been twice so I'm guessing no but you could save me the time and I could really use it."
