She shifted, one of her hands finding one of his and linking their fingers. He was here, she was safe and happy ( she hadn’t realized she’d been unhappy until now). Outside, she knew, things would change. This was one of those moments that couldn’t leave their alcove, not even the illusionary one. Which meant they had to go back to keeping secrets from the rest of the school. And he’d been so adamant about wanting everyone to know about them. She was certain that there was a perfect thing to say or do at this moment, but damned if she knew what it was. Her other hand reached around him feeling for where she had left her wand, and turned the lights up, just enough to see him by a false moonlight. She dropped her wand to brush his fringe out of his eyes and trace along his jaw line. For the past 5 years she’d been on a determined mission to make him happy. It was so hard to tell if she’d finally won. She stared up at him, studying every feature until he looked at her questioningly.

“ I Like you.” she said in his response to his unanswered question.
