I agree. All organized religions, their institutions and administrative orders, eventually become decrepit. This is not to say, as Abdu'l-Baha' does, that the teachings of any religion have become decrepit. The teachings of all religions remain vital and alive to those who find comfort and security in those teachings. To what degree those teachings contribute to the general welfare of humanity determines their true value.

Buddhism has been able to bring in many more believers in the West and in Europe than Baha'ism for a reason. It's teachings continue to speak to people, much more clearly and meaningfully than Baha'i teachings speak to many people. Why? Because Buddhism long ago shed much of the theistic baggage of it's forebearer Hinduism.

Baggage that required a person to believe in this or that interpretation to do with this or that deity/prophet/guru or be considered as being of the nonchosen. A belief that is unfortunately perpetuated by Baha'ism.

In Buddhism compassion for all livings things is placed in front of all personal interpretations to do with religious beliefs and the many myths those beliefs are based on.

This makes Buddhism more relevant than theistic religions such as Baha'i which place a personal guru figure as being the one and only intermediary between all of humanity and their personal deity. Such belief has no place in our world today and if there is any religious belief that is truly decrepit it is this one common Judeo-Christian-Islamic-Baha'i belief. A belief which continues to be responsible for more human grief than any other single human belief.
