Scourgify, the auburn-haired girl tried, but the stain only got deeper and stronger. Cora was perplexed, but then distracted when the girl-Brielle- asked her name.

"My name is Cora... Procella." Cora added her last name as an afterthought. She wasn't used to introducing herself with her last name, too, but since Brielle had... "I am also a first year in Aquila."

And the poor girl looked shy. Cora understood, she was pretty shy herself. Well, at least she was before she started at RMI. Cora realized that in starting a new school, she would have to make new friends. And this meant that she would have to branch out and actually talk to people. Unlike her small muggle school where she had known everyone practically since kindergarten, Cora would actually have to make new friends, a task that had seemed daunting at first.

She resolved to do as much as she could to help Brielle become more comfortable in her surroundings.

But first, they would have to solve the mystery of the stubborn stain. Cora would not have been surprised if the stain had gotten a little lighter, or even refused to budge. But to get darker? Cora knew next to nothing about how spells worked, but even she thought there was something fishy going on.

"Here, let me try," Cora offered, taking the fabric rather forcefully from Brielle. She hadn't meant to take it forcefully. It had just sort of happened. Cora was eager to try her hand at the seemingly impossible task, and that eagerness sometimes turned into a little bit of aggression. At least this time it was directed towards a jersey.

Just as she had before, Cora waved her wand and said the incantation. Like before, when Brielle had tried, the stain got a shade darker. What was going on?

Nervously, Cora pushed a dark brown curl out of her face and behind her ear. Her hair had a habit of escaping from her braid, and today was no different.

She tried again... to no avail.

"Maybe we should ask someone else?" Cora asked hopefully, searching the room with her eyes, trying to make eye contact with someone else that appeared to know what they were doing.

"Oh, and Brielle, I guess I should've known you, seeing as we are in the same house. Sorry about that. You see, I missed orientation, so I am a little behind on getting to know people."
