Sascha had had very little to arrange in his dorm room. For all his elegance and attention to detail, he kept things very simple in his dorm room. There were no posters or pictures, since they wouldn't do him much good any how, and no furniture other than what came with the room. A bed, a desk and a dresser. His clothes has been carefully hung with a wave of his wand, his large books placed on the shelving provided, he'd made up his bed then laid a couple tatami mats on one part of his floor near the window, and tossed a couple floor pillows in the corner, and called it good. That left the rest of his free time for getting ready for the semi formal party tonight. He'd certainly need it.
Though Sascha had dialed it back a little for the tour, he couldn't do anything but pull out all the stops for a party. His hair alone had taken him an hour. Each strand was in perfect place. The sides of his black hair were in loose twists to give it some shape, as it was pulled back into a very intricate fishbone braid, hundreds of strands forming the elegant plait. The end of the braid, which was nearly long enough for Sascha to sit on if he wasn't careful, was held with a silver clip that looked like a very delicate butterfly made of artfully shaped wire and bits of glass. Carved ivory combs were tucked into the twists on either side of his head, and a silver chain with a small blue semiprecious jewel was draped along the back of his head, either end of the chain tucked into the twists, the small jewel hanging down to just above where the braid started. If one were to look very closely, they would see strands of tiny glittery beads woven into the strands of the braid.
Once his hair was taken care of, Sascha had chosen his clothes with every bit as much care. He had donned a pair of women's wide leg trousers that fit his narrow hips very nicely. His shirt was a kimono style wrap shirt with flared sleeves. It was cut so that it showed off only his collarbone, not low cut as so many such shirts were. It was of a silky sort of material and was mostly black, though an inch wide edging on the sleeves, hem, and along the edges of the shirt had a delicate cherry blossom pattern in pink and white.
Around his neck, Sascha wore a circular piece of onyx overlaid with silver in the shape of the tree of life, on a silver chain. Several different bangles decorate his wrist silver and beaded. His shoes were actually ballet flats that matched his shirt, mostly black with a cherry blossom pattern on them. In fact, at the moment, Sascha passed very well as female. Not that his goal was to pass as anything, Sascha just thought girls clothes were prettier and he very much liked to be pretty.
He didn't struggle at all with finding his way to the party. He remembered the way from the tour and even from the new location of his dorm, he was able to click his way to where he wanted to go. The noise once he got close was all he really needed anyway. He made his way into the hall, cane sliding gracefully in front of him, his movements sure. He stood near one wall as Grammarye spoke. The man didn't sound like he much enjoyed public speaking, but fair enough, few did. When the music started back up again he headed toward where he could smell the finger foods and hear the sounds of glasses being filled. He listened for a while, and although he was able to discern the gist, you placed a cup and made a request, there were several details he couldn't get from listening alone. He didn't let it annoy him though. He didn't like to ask for help, but it was completely acceptable as an excuse to get to meet some people. He clicked and listened a moment and stepped up next to the closest pair.
"I'm so sorry to interrupt, but could one of you tell me how beverages are acquired?" He asked, his voice soft and smooth, his Japanese accent was certainly present, but he took pains in his enunciation. He smiled sweet and serene at the two men, his blue-green eyes looking through them rather than at them, in fact, not seeing them at all if the long white cane was any indication.
