“You are welcome, Mr. Murakami.” Jacob was here to teach and it felt good when he did. All he wanted with this new position was to mold the future healers of the wizarding world. He had his time as a brilliant healer and now it was time to pass down the torch to the next generation. He liked how Sascha Murakami seemed to respect the classroom and himself. It was a nice feeling. A feeling he rather liked. For some reason he felt safer about the future of healing. All he wanted was to be certain that these kids would become the best healers in their chosen field. He was sure some of them would drop out of the grueling curriculum, but he was certain that the ones that remained would make him proud. Jacob didn’t have children, and in a way his students would fill that void in his life. The Healer didn’t regret not forming a family, his career had always been more important. His students were now filling that space that had always been vacant. It was fatherly pride that was running through his veins right now.

The older healer was about to continue with his rounds around the classroom when the student spoke up again and asked him about minor alterations to the spell, “There are a lot of variations to this spell and other spells that have the same purpose. This one is the simplest of them all. If you manage to find that alteration, you will still get graded. As long as the point of this class is achieved, which is to diagnose any injuries or diseases. ” Jacob liked when his students got creative. Sascha’s interest was flattering and encouraging. “Vibrations should work the same way the light does.” Jacob looked at him for a few seconds. “Call me when you get the hang of this new spell of yours.” He cleared his throat. “Anything else?” he asked before resuming his wanderings through the classroom.
