Thu Sep 1, 2011 21:33

Exactly! Teachers are researchers and they don't even know it! I try to tell my co-workers that all the time, and they disagree. We are always researching new ideas and strategies to help our kids learn on a daily basis. We have to, it is our job. No student learns the same way each year, and because of that, you have to research new strategies to reach the needs of other students.

This is the same way I thought about research. Then when you think about it, teachers research constantly to find new ideas and practices that work.
