Thanks! I know all upper Elementary teachers seem to have the same dilemma when it comes to decoding. I also use Words Their Way with my lower and mid level students. Exploring patterns help students to understand spelling as well as decoding polysyllabic words. Even though Word Build is similar to Word Trek, I think even my lower level students gained some insight into the meanings of words.
