Although computers have been around for quite some time now, many of my students do not have them in their homes. They are excited to learn to use them and more motivated when using them to learn to read. is a popular site when my class visits the computer lab. It is interactive and fun, motivating even my most reluctant readers. YAY for utilizing technology! I just had an idea- I should write a grant for Kindles for my about motivation!
