I agree that having students tape record themselves reading is a fun way for them to practice. In the past, I have had students read using the Smart Board and microphone which is connected to our sound system in the room. Feedback is very important and helping students learn to give and take it in a positive way can start as early as kindergarten.

      I had never tried Readers' Theater with my students before. I had tried Echo and Choral reading with students before and knew its value. Readers' Theater has really opened a new world for me to help... more
