Mary Beth, I shared this link with someone else on the threaded discussion. I'm not sure what grade you teach, but there are a tremendous amount of Readers' Theater text that are already divided into parts (up to 26) and also ones that are divided into as few as 4 parts. It's a second grade teacher's website, but I found it useful for all of my students (1st through 5th grade). The Readers' Theater link is in the center of the page just a little ways down from the top under "Second Grade Teacher Resources."
