I think you're totally right about each student's personality. One of the fifth grade participants in our study really stands out in my mind after reading your response. He is a very animated and outgoing individual. He is always bouncing around and moving about. When he read, his expression was exemplar! However, the other children in the group are quieter by nature and I noticed that they did not read with as much expression, but it sounded like their normal speaking voice. Interesting!
