I agree and well said. I also was trying to visualize how I could use the two strategies in my own classroom. Though as we know, there are so many teachers out there that don't and won't change the way they teach until forced. Like you said, it is a disservice to the students. Sometimes I wonder if they know the damage they are causing by being selfish and only caring about the way they think and want to learn instead of what their students need.

      I think that's why research classes like this are really important. They remind teachers that there are a ton of resources out there. Also, we need to remember to use each other as resources.... more
