Now that I have completed writing the Boyle paper I think that the hardest part was trying to find quotes and specific parts from the text to support my writing. I basically had to re read the stories to remember what happened exactly and to find specific parts that I knew were written, but not sure where exactly. Re reading the stories was not really a bad thing thought, I think that it probably helped with refreshing my memory on everything that happened through out each story. It helped me to find more things to write about that I had forgotten happened. Writing the Boyle paper was kind of challenging at some point, finding similarities between the two stories and then finding the differences was kind of hard. Overall I do not think the Boyle paper was that bad though. I enjoyed writing about the main events that were significant in each story. Each story had parts that made you think was this actually significant, does writing about this part make sense? I think my analysis overall was good. Making the analysis was kind of hard but in the end I felt pretty good about it. The Boyle paper was not my favorite kind of paper to write. I do not particularly like writing compare and contrast papers and theme papers are hard for me too. I do not like having to find parts of each story that happen in both stories, and I do not like having to talk about the things that are different because I never know if it is actually something important to be comparing and contrasting. The Boyle paper was challenging for me to write, but in the end I think that my paper turned out to be ok. I’m glad that the Boyle paper is done and turned in. It feels good to have gotten it over with and out of the way. The Boyle paper challenged me and my writing and sometimes that is a good thing, that is what makes you a better writer. The Boyle paper was something I hope and think I did well on, we will have to see.
Now that you have completed the Boyle paper, what was the greatest challenge about the paper for you? What did you find least challenging about it? How well do you think your analysis went?
