I can't imagine teaching kindergarten and laying the phonics groundwork! I was in kindergarten for block one and the teacher I work with did phonics for almost two hours every day. She was awesome at it though!! And just like you she used the Smart board to do it...every day! She had Smart board games for vowels, blends, consonants, everything!! I also know she frequently used the Starfall website and the kids really enjoyed that.

          It works really well during my acceleration time when I have small group writing time and some are removed from the classroom. Hope you can use and it works well for you!
