I found both of these articles pretty interesting. Starting with the article about how the E-Pals program got started, I found it interesting how the program originated. I liked how the program started with a clear guiding vision. I think that it is a really neat idea to connect students with disabilities with college students to pen- pal with. I enjoyed hearing about how the program helps students learn how to converse with a greeting, middle, questions, and ending. From hearing about the beginnings of this program and some of the students' stories, I can tell that the program has really had a positive impact on students and their writing ability.

The second article was also interesting to read. I enjoyed hearing about the two different classrooms and how they approach writing in an inclusion classroom. I thought the idea of how teacher beliefs affect their teaching was pretty powerful. I had never put much thought into how my attitude and beliefs about teaching affect my students' success, but it is very important. Both groups of classroom teachers cared deeply about their students and had strong beliefs about their teaching. I think that the implications of this article are powerful because our beliefs on teaching have a reat affect on our students' successes.

          I agreed with this as well. I try very hard to differentiate with my students. It is hard work to do this in order to meet the needs of each student. However, in the end it is worthwhile.
