I also have taught in an inclusive classroom. After reading this article, it's refreshing to know that there are classrooms in which inclusion can work beautifully and be very beneficial for students with disabilities. I think collaboration is very important and students just simply can not reap all of the benefits that it has to offer if teachers aren't planning together and sharing the workload equally. It becomes more like a business model - 51% belongs to this teacher and 49% belongs to the other teacher. Both teachers have to be on the same page about what needs to happen in the classrom or it won't work at all. By the way, I love that you're using Garage Band for poetry readings! Cool!

      Often folks respond to the "I can't keep up" feeling by doing nothing. Good for you for adding one thing a year.
