Food Allergy

Dogs, like people, can have food allergies, and different product allergies and they are not breed specific and the best way to know if its a dog allergy is to do what you are doing. For those who have a Costco we always recommend the Turkey or Duck, with sweet potato allergen free food which is again half the price of pet store from the same manufacturer.

There is no easy solution if you are trying to identify a culprit but if your dog does well on an allergen free alternative to chicken and rice like duck, turkey, rabbit, etc then just have that as the food source for your pet. Also, watch outside to see if your dog is one that will smell and eat anything on the ground as well and be aware of all plants in the yard etc that might be the source of some problems

Our vet thinks our Australian Labradoodle has a food allergy. Are there any foods they might be particular allergic to?
