For my annotated bibliography it was between choosing Italian Cousine and child diabetes. I chose to use sources that related to Italian cousine because I figured I'd save the child diabetes for another research topic when I can get really in depth. I did a general search on Italian cousine and got all types of recipes and spices and herbs that are commonly used during preparation of Italian foods. Not to mention that I eat pasta at least 3 times a week.

Since I realized how much I eat foods that originated in Italy I figured I wouldn't mind doing a little research on it. There's going to be sources that explain the preparation of the cousine, the types of foods, which foods, and why cheese and olives are so popular with food preparation. The last time I went to Italy it was always assumed you wanted cheese on everything and I don't eat dairy. SO at every meal I had to catch the cheese-grinding waiter that it wasn't necessary.

I also chose this topic because in my nutrition class we were talking about how America adapts foods from other countries and continents and makes it famous in the U.S. by Americanizing it the way a typical American would like it. Pizza, salad, garlic bread, and spaghetti are all a lot of Americans' favorites.

The library instruction was slightly helpful. I learned that I can make major refines to a search and narrow my search down way more than I knew how to before. But as far as the databases I was planning on using the ones that pertained to my topic. Now I just have to find 15 credible sources using th e database.
