Choosing a topic for this paper was not too hard. As soon as you said we were writing an issue paper the topic that popped in my head immediately was abortion. I feel like itís a popular topic in the world and would be easy to have two sides on. Also thereís a good amount of reliable information on abortion out there so Iím not too worried about finding sources. The two sides of my paper will be Pro-Life and the other side will be Pro-Life. Pro-Choice is where the woman has the power to choose whether or not to have or terminate the pregnancy. Pro-Life is where abortion is not an option unless itís a life or death situation. The Pro-Life supporters are sometimes more religious based and conservatives while the Pro-Choice tend to be more liberal. I feel like the hardest part of this paper is going to be not bringing my own views into this paper. I feel that abortion is completely wrong no if, and, or buts about it. I do understand why some women choose to get them but if you could lay there and make it then you can get up and take care of it. I also am worried about whether or not I can write at least five pages about it. I feel that yes it is an easier topic it but thereís not so much you can say without rambling on or repeating yourself. I hope that the sources that I find have enough quality information that will help this paper meet your requirements. Also I need to get a good grade on this paper if I want to earn the grade in this class that I want. I didnít do the best on the last paper because I turned it in late so that really hurt my grade but I plan on doing my best work of the semester to make sure I can get the grade I want. If I follow the outline and the tips you gave us in class as well as go to other places on campus that help students with writing assignments I think I will be just fine.
