I think the most challenging part of the annotated bibliography for me was over thinking the paper as a whole. I had never heard about this type of paper until we were assigned it. Writing about childhood obesity I thought would be a good idea because I was under the impression that there had been lots of research and studies done about it. I was correct, however, the research I ended up finding just didnít seem to be what I was looking for. I started reading too much into the ďspecificĒ topic and it made my research really challenging. The annotated bibliography as a whole was a challenge for me; I struggled throughout the entire process of writing it.

Even though it was a challenge, I think writing the summaries was easier than writing a paper that has to flow properly and each paragraph link together somehow. It was a lot less stressful and easier to just read an article and then summarize and basically critique the article. There wasnít really a lot of having to think about how to word things and see if they made sense in the annotated bibliography like I normally would have to do for any other paper.

I am glad that the paper has been submitted but Iím not going to be excited to see the grade I received on it. Of course, I am freaking out about the grade I might see written on it; I say that after everything I turn in. Since I wrote about childhood obesity, it really enlightened me to start eating healthier and making it to the gym more often than I had been doing. It also inspired me to lose a little bit of weight. For the future, if I have any kids, I am also going to make sure they eat healthy and stay in athletic activities in order to have a healthy, active lifestyle.

Thinking ahead to the issue paper, I am already working myself up about it because I canít decide on a topic. Here I go with the overthinking process again, I seriously cannot stop.

What did you find most challenging about the annotated bibliography? What did you find easiest about doing the annotated bib? Now that you have submitted it, how do you feel about your Ann. Bib?
