I really enjoyed the video Eleven is One Louder- Spinal Tap just as much as I did last semester. It was a great way to start the final discussion of the year. Throughout this year my experience in English 1200 has been a great one. I am glad to say that my writing has improved compared to last semester. From the first day of class going over the rules I knew it would be interesting and there is no way I would fall asleep or lose my attention. The things that I found most beneficial from the start were that we were able to see you with our papers to go over them before they were due. This helped me out once again this semester. After the out of class readings I liked the days that we would come to class and break down the stories this really helped me understand them to their fullest potential. I cannot pin point anything that was not beneficial, the only thing that I had a tough time with was picking a topic for the issue paper since I did not want to do anything that other people in the class were doing. I would like to have figured out that sooner than later but that is my fault for not working on the paper itself sooner. The thing that was most different about this English from my others is that the teachers did not give constructive criticism on the papers any feedback so that made it hard not to be able to work on fixing problems on the paper for next time. I have never liked English classes because I could never take interesting in anything and the fact I do not like writing. The discussions I thought were simple and easy to do. I was a little upset with myself that I completely forgot about one of the discussions. This made me disappointed and made me think that this semester of English was going to be tough with the way I had started. It was surprisingly great so I am pretty happy with it.
