The annotated bibliography was one of my favorite assignments so far out of both my college English courses. I did not necessarily find it easy or hard. One of the pros about the assignment was that it wasn't written it basic paper format, with a beginning, middle and an end. I found that part the easiest about it. A lot of times, I struggle with the first and last paragraph and creating a basic flow to the paper. With the annotated bibliography, I did not have to worry about that aspect. Instead, I was able to focus on word usage and really analyzing the sources I chose. It is easy to forget when searching for sources to look into not only what the source is about, but also whom it appeals to. I know sometimes I forget to analyze the audience. Based on whom you are writing for in your own paper depends significantly on the sources you choose to supplement it with. Additionally, I liked the fact that the paper was very useful. I can see myself doing an annotated bibliography in the future for my own use. I actually used this annotated bibliography for my psychology class and it made researching for that paper much easier. The part I felt was the most difficult about the bibliography was the amount of sources we had to have. While I understand why we had to have that many, I often times found it difficult to obtain sources that were useful but were not redundant of a previous source. I wanted to make sure each source was beneficial in its own way and bought something new to the topic. Making sure the sources were within the 2008 to present date range was also a factor I had some trouble with. Finding sources through the database with specific year selections was easier, but when I actually went to go look for a book on the shelves many of them were out of date. I feel pretty confident about my annotated bibliography overall. I made sure to look over my work and was able to proofread each source well. I hope my confidence is reflected in my grade.

What did you find most challenging about the annotated bibliography? What did you find easiest about doing the annotated bib? Now that you have submitted it, how do you feel about your Ann. Bib?
