I didnít think that the Annotated Bibliography was very hard. It was just more or less extremely repetitive. I felt like I kept repeating myself when I talked about who would benefit from the sources. But I guess it would make sense considering only Registered Dietitians and other individuals in the health field would use them. I followed the example and Iím happy with the way that it turned out. The easiest part of the Annotated Bibliography was finding all of my sources. Iím extremely interested in Nutrition and Childhood Obesity so I loved going to the library and looking at what kinds of books were out there. The Science and Health library has a great selection of books and itís well organized. Also, writing the summary for each source was easy as well. I feel like I learned a lot about my topic just by doing the Annotated Bibliography. But I suppose that would be the point in doing one for a future paper. All of my sources were so interesting and informative. I wish that I was actually using that Annotated Bibliography to write a paper. Now that I handed it in, I feel a lot better. It feels like a weight has lifted off my shoulders. I always feel that way when I finally hand in a paper, for any class. Mainly because itís a huge focus for the few weeks we have to write it. I took a lot of time to find good sources and read through them all to find important information. I also looked at the example that was given to us and used the Bedford book to cite my sources, which at times was a little bit confusing for me. Iíve never had a class that emphasized citing so much. I feel like the effort I put into the Annotated Bibliography will show. I also made sure to look over it and had my friend who is an English major look over it as well. Iím excited to get them back and see how I did. I was so disappointed in the grade I got for the first paper, that Iím hoping this one turns out a lot better.
