I felt like that the annotated bibliography was a lot easier than the informative paper we wrote at the beginning of the semester. There were some things that did give me challenges. The first thing was making sure that every source was cited correctly. There were so many different ways to cite things it was a little over whelming to find the exact way that I needed to cite one of the sources. The Bedford book was the best source for learning how to cite something properly. It had a source for every circumstance.
The easiest part of the annotated bibliography was finding my sources. Because my topic was always changing it was easy to find sources that were 2008 or later. I found travel guides to be the best source. They provided a lot of information of the parks and the surrounding areas. I had a friend that had a lot of books that were 2008 and later. It did not take me long to find my print sources. Newspaper articles served as some more sources. They had good information on things that happened this year. I found the annotated bibliography easier to write than the informative paper because I found it easy to summarize a source rather than going and finding very specific information. Because big news about the parks had just happened this year it was easy to find recent news from reliable sources. It also helped that I had practice doing an annotated bibliography. I did one in high school so I felt like I knew what I was doing.
Now that I have submitted my annotated bibliography I feel better than I did when I turned in my informative paper because I had more time to write it. I really procrastinated on my informative paper and I made a change and gave myself more time on my annotated bibliography to make it better and do it the way it needs to be done rather than being rushed and doing a rough job on my paper. It is not perfect but I feel I did a good enough job to get a decent grade.

What did you find most challenging about the annotated bibliography? What did you find easiest about doing the annotated bib? Now that you have submitted it, how do you feel about your Ann. Bib?
