The hardest part of the annotated bibliography was finding the time to do it. It wasn't the longest paper I've ever written, but it is by far the most time consuming. Reading all the scholarly articles took an extremely long time. I divided the work into 3 library days, 5 sources each day. Looking back, I probably spent about 4 hours on every 5 sources I did.
I know it probably wasn't totally necessary to read all of my sources from top to bottom, but I picked a topic that really interested me, so I actually enjoyed reading my sources. This project gave me the opportunity to read some great articles, even though it meant spending some late nights in the library.
Although it took the longest of all my papers, it was also my favorite paper to write. After having read a plethora of scholarly articles relating to my major, I feel that I have a much better understanding of my topic, my major, and of research within my major. I have a feeling Iíll be able to refer back to my annotated bib for help with papers in other classes that Iíll take in the future. Unfortunately, my topic will not work for the issue paper.
Another hard part about the annotated bibliography was finding the proper citation format. I had a couple weird sources that didn't have specific guidelines to cite. With these sources, I did my best and used my resources to try to get a proper citation format.
The easiest part about doing the annotated bib was finding the articles. After the library presentation, I got a great understanding of how to use the databases available to us. As I expected, there were plenty of current, scholarly sources available for me.
I also found the annotations relatively easy, although I had to remember not to go too in depth on what the information was, and focus on describing the information rather than giving it.
Now that I've turned in the paper, I feel good about it. I'm confident that all my citations were correct and that I provided the correct information on each source. I'm hoping for an A or B on this paper.

What did you find most challenging about the annotated bibliography? What did you find easiest about doing the annotated bib? Now that you have submitted it, how do you feel about your Ann. Bib?
